Are you a food creator we should feature?
Social Foodie curates reviews from creators across all social media platforms. If you're a food creator with sharp, genuine takes, get on our radar.
You asked, we answered.
Is Social Foodie free?
Yes — free to download and free to use. Browse the Hot feed, follow tastemakers, and search Eats without spending a cent. A few premium features are in the works for later.
Do I need an account to use the app?
No — anyone can browse the app and read tastemaker picks without signing in. Create a free account to follow tastemakers, save places to your list, and react to reviews.
Where do the reviews come from?
Social Foodie's editorial team researches and curates restaurant coverage from food creators across all social media platforms. We summarize each tastemaker's take into a consistent verdict — naming the place, what they tried, and a clear rating — so you can compare picks across creators at a glance. Every tastemaker on the platform is hand-selected for their genuine point of view and real local knowledge.
How is this different from Yelp or Google Reviews?
Yelp and Google aggregate anonymous reviews from strangers. Social Foodie is built around creators you can actually follow and trust. You know their taste, their standards, their biases — so when they call something ELITE, you know exactly what that means for you.
Can restaurants pay to be featured?
Tastemaker verdicts can't be bought — no restaurant can pay for better ratings or editorial placement. If we run ads or boosted placements in the future, they'll be clearly labeled and kept entirely separate from tastemaker coverage.
