Detroit Dar is a Metro Detroit food creator who came home in 2020 after six years in Brooklyn and started filming the city he wanted people to see. He opens most videos with "what's up my Detroit fam," then walks into a neighborhood restaurant, a food truck, or a juice bar that locals actually use. His Instagram following is well into the six figures. On Social Foodie, the coverage is almost entirely Michigan: Detroit, Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Sterling Heights, Lansing, Royal Oak, and the inner-ring suburbs that rarely get national attention.

His highest-rated picks are blunt.
